Meet Our Team
Dr. Usama Elbayoumi,
PhD, PharmD, RPh
Dr. Elbayoumi, the founder of PharmaSpirit, has been teaching pharmacy professionals since 2005. He was an OSCE instructor and the coordinator of professional practice and pharmacy at the IPG program at U of T. He currently works as a Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacology. Dr. Usama holds a PharmD from the University of Florida, and a PhD from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Wasim Sassila
PharmD, MBA, RPh
Dr. Sassila joined the PharmaSpirit team as OSCE instructor in 2017. He holds a PharmD from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business administration (MBA) along with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Moscow State Medical Academy . Wassim currently works as a Pharmacy Manager and has received specialized training in Methadone.
Zainab ElHaddawi
RPh, Content Expert
Zainab joined PharmaSpirit in 2016 as an Expert Content Developer and Reviewer, contributing to the creation of the question bank and reviewing of course materials. She holds a Pharmacy degree from the University of Baghdad. She is a certified diabetes educator (CDE) who has played a significant role in educating diabetic patients, opioid addiction treatment, and MedCheck services. She honed her skills as a Clinical Pharmacist across various specialized departments such as Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, ICU, Cardiac Care, Gynecology, and Obstetrics Ward.
Rasha Keshk
PharmD, RPh
Rasha joined the PharmaSpirit team as OSCE instructor in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Alexandria. where she also obtained her PharmD. Rasha currently works as a Pharmacy Manager. She is passionate about Patient care and loves helping people reach her potential.
Dr. Sahar Khaleel
PHD, Content Expert
Dr. Khaleel is a long-standing pharmacy education expert with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research, and curriculum development. She holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the School of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University and completed her postdoctoral research at The Ohio State University. She has taught and mentored both undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. Dr. Khaleel is deeply committed to fostering student success through innovative, learner-centered teaching approaches, with a passion for bridging knowledge and practice to create meaningful and engaging educational experiences.
